Viewport Rotation
Hiya,
A couple of months ago Andos gave permission to recompile his Viewport object. Word is, it now supports rotation.
Could someone with the proper resources be a pal and compile this right quick? I'm dying to take advantage of this feature.
Thanks!

Re: Viewport Rotation
If you upload the source somewhere I will compile using VC++ 6.0

Re: Viewport Rotation
That's good news. Waiting ...
As with any viable extension, I would hope we can get that version Vitalized! as well.

Re: Viewport Rotation
OK compiled, included is the vitalize version if anyone wants to submit it to CT. 1KB bigger than the Extension Updater version.
Get it from http://www.helper3000.net/viewport.zip

Re: Viewport Rotation
Thanks.
It might be a good idea to test it carefully to assure that it is stable and no new bugs were introduced with the feature, ey?

Re: Viewport Rotation
There are some strange results with transparency/background around the Viewport as you rotate (always equals black), but then, I don't use this object that much.
For an interesting effect, rotate the Viewport with an object moving on-screen and uncheck "save background". Besides the spiral, infinite looping effect, the background shows for a moment, then fades out, and goes to black, just like the area around the Viewport.
I don't know if it is supposed to do that, but I thought I would note it.

Re: Viewport Rotation
Just for info, I have a newer version in the works with a proper rotation that doesn't leak memory. (I can't remember if the current version does with rotation)
