Fixes and changes in this version
- Active Picture object : displayed as transparent even if the Transparent option was unselected.
- Active Picture object : color problem in backdrops created with the Create Backdrop action.
- Active Picture object : new "Software mode" option in the properties. This option should be used for hidden active objects used to create backdrop objects, as the Create Backdrop action is slow when the Active Picture object is in HWA mode.
- Layer object : Set Effect Parameter action not working correctly with floating point parameters.
- Effect List dialog box : the parameter names are now displayed in the information box, so that you know what parameter names to use in the Set Effect Parameter action.
- Runtime : the old Semi-Transparency Coefficient action no longer forces the effect to Blend when the application is in Direct3D mode.
Just for info, what doesn't work or will be improved :
- full screen (doesn't work).
- transitions (don't work).
- some graphical extensions don't work (Screen Capture, Lens, Viewport, Get Pixel, Flame, Alpha Channel, etc).
- others work but are not optimized (text blitter, speech bubble, etc).
- fine collisions between rotated or stretched sprites are slow.
- the quick backdrop object in ellipse mode is slow.
- there are still problems when you resize the frame window.
- effects on layers will be optimized in a future version.
- an option to prevent resampling when the "resize to fill screen" option is used will be added.
- a few options are still missing in the effects, to read the background surface behind the objects.
- the background behind dialog boxes is not correctly refreshed.
