Particle Widget
This is a quite basic particle widget. Copy it to your frame (keep the widget there, as it's flagged to not be created at start of frame). Whenever you want to spawn a particle, create a new particle object from the event editor and set it's control parameters and animation direction (for particle graphics).
You'll most likely want to add new animation directions to the object for more particle graphics, and the widget is easily expendable with more features.

Re: Particle Widget
Thanks so much!
This Widget is top-notch and very well done. Its such a useful effect
I give it four stars ****!
I hope that great Widgets like these, (so great to have reusable stuff like this) are an inspiration for others to contribute some great tools we can all add to our Widgets folder ;)

Re: Particle Widget
These are really great and easy, but not that graphically appealing. But then again, HWA is probably needed for that.

MechaBowser:
It's the movements that are important. You can make it more graphically appealing by using different sprites.
Excellent work Nifflas! I'm looking forward to using these in my projects!

Re: Particle Widget
I have no intentions to make anything graphically impressive anyway, it's up to the users to do that. My task was setting up a basic particle widget that is easily expandable :)

Re: Particle Widget
Yeah, the basic particle effect is there for you.
I suggest users experiment with different graphics on their own and see what results they can get from the framework that Nifflas has created in this Widget.
Then, show us your cool results when you find some.

Re: Particle Widget
Edit: This was originally the release post for Particle Widget vol 3, but now I have created an additional particle type, so here's vol 4.
