Re: Have used the Java beta on my new website
I may be incorrect on this, but I too got that problem. So I tested it out on some other Java stuff similar to that (Google searched it), and the problem occurred again. So it seems that might just be a problem with Java.
Note: I was using Mozilla for my tests, not IE.
Quick question Steven. Did you use active objects for the scrolling thumbnails, or is there a plugin you used to generate them and the scrolling effect?
Re: Have used the Java beta on my new website
Just used an active object. I can upload the .mfa if you guys want to see the events?
Re: Have used the Java beta on my new website
I would love to see what you've done. If you could post the .mfa I would be much obliged. :)
Re: Have used the Java beta on my new website
No problem http://www.phaedra-passwords.com/dow...aedraslide.mfa
I'm sure that there is a more elegent way to do it, but I didn't have much time :)
Re: Have used the Java beta on my new website
Thanks for posting up the source.
Every example helps people understand how to accomplish certain tasks. Its a perfect example of how MMF will become a valuable tool in web developers toolkit for creating Java applets for web pages.
Re: Have used the Java beta on my new website
Thanks Steven, I appreciate it. I'll take a look at it today!
Jeff, I completely agree. I'd been away from the 'klik' scene for a while because of work obligations, but I will say one that REALLY caught my eye and brought me back here was the addition of Java compilation and HWA. You guys have done such a great job with MMF/TGF. I am very happy I upgraded to MMF2. :)

Re: Have used the Java beta on my new website
No probs with posting the source. It all helps :)
I'll be working on some new tutorials soon Jeff.
Also for anyone interested in trying out Phaedra, i'm hoping to go live tomorrow and will post a topic in the open topic forum :)
Re: Have used the Java beta on my new website
Hey Steven, congratulations on your launch. :) That's awesome.
I almost started a new thread, but I figured my problem would fit well here.
I have my full gallery of artwork finished and ready, made with MMF2. When I save it out as a java applet, I open the htm file that it generates, and nothing appears except for the default text in the html. I ran another test with a different app made in MMF2, compile out to java applet, and that one works. I checked all the settings, everything is the same. I even compared it to your source Steven (thanks btw!!), and it doesn't work.
I can't post the .mfa file right now, but when I get home later this evening I will. But in the mean time, does any one have an idea of what it could be?
Re: Have used the Java beta on my new website
Yes, please post the MFA, I'll have a look at it...
