Hmm...what format is the music that you are trying to use?
The format that I want is Audio Files (mp3*,wav,flac,wma,ogg)
MMF does not support (yet) MP3 in the internal sound engine
It supports WAV, Ogg and a few more so your files need to be in that format.
Directshow can play anything supported by Windows Media player so that might be an option for you to look in to.
