wizkidweb, that's kinda rubbish. You CAN encrypt/decrypt files with the blowfish object (or binary object).
Plus, each windows OS blowfish supports, e.g. XP and vista, doesn't matter which version, is able to encrypt files!

If I can encrypt files then, could someone provide an example made with MMF2 of a simple file encrypting program? I just don't know how to pick a file from a hard drive, and then encrypt it with a user programed key with the blowfish object.
Could anyone provide an example to help me with this?
pretty sure the blowfish object comes with an example for encrypting/decrypting files
EDIT: here's a quick one, anyway
obviously don't test it on anything important
Where will the encrypted file go? Because I can't find any encrypted file, only my original file.
XYZZY that example crashed when I went to load a file. I clicked load.
I saw this thread and I thought I would fix xyzzy's blowfish example.
Here- Fixed Blowfish Encryption Example
It should defiantly work no matter what version of windows you have.
Yesterday I posted a zip file containing several small apps. The encryption one (using the cypher object) should be basically what im2famous4u wanted.
MMF2 > File Archive > A few random mini-projects
So...where can I download the cypher object? My version of MMF2 won't let me open your example without first downloading the cypher object.
You can get the Cypher Object through FusionUpdater or the Neatwares Extension List. Look under "Community Links" in the sidebar. ------------>>>> (Scroll up)
