Hi,
whats difference between a BackDrop and QuickBackDrop?
The Quick Backdrop doesn't need a gfx. You can choose to fill it with a solid or a gradient color. If you choose to fill it with a picture it will tile when you try to resize the object, which is very useful when you will fill the playarea with a tiled gfx.
A backdrop is just an object that will have no movement and always appear in the back of its chosen layer, doesn't show up in event editor and blah blah blah blah blah.
I'm sure you know that much. The difference is that a quick backdrop is easily resized and can be made a single, solid color. Say you just wanted a blue background, possibly for a sky. If you were using a backdrop, you'd have to go in and make it fit the exact dimensions of your level, and fill it with blue. For a quick backdrop, you just click and drag the corners to make it big. And make it blue. It's just quicker, is all. You can also use a picture and tile it if you wanted a... well, a tiled background, I guess.
