I'm hosting a public server at
80.62.28.123
(running my poinc implementation)
so if you want to test the extensions out, you can easily do it now :)
I've put up 0.1.6 on the server, it should work properly with blasting text now!
You can now use
oinc.darkkiller.dk
as hostname, it should redirect to the server.
New public server hosted by AquadaSoft, using POINC 0.17 running on CentOS 5.1!
Try it now at:
IP: 67.212.160.6
PORT: 6121
Considering it is still in beta dont get mad if it goes down for a day or two :)
oinc.darkkiller.dk is using 0.1.7 now also
I have now updated my server to run the latest version of poinc(0.1.95) :)
IP: 67.212.160.6
PORT: 6121
Have fun!
Hi clickers! MooServers.com is updated and now supports OINC servers.
http://www.mooservers.com/
My server (oinc.darkkiller.dk) now runs poinc 0.1.97, so it should work with the newest extension release!
Villy's server now runs POINC 0.1.97.
IP: 67.212.160.6
Port: 6121
DarkeKiller what's the port number?
Darkesoft, Villy.
When I try and connect to either of your servers it says Connection Denied.
Help?
Crazy_Ivan, I'm quite sure we've updated our servers to the newest release. What reason are you getting for the disconnect?
Unknown.
All i do is on Connect change a string to say Connected
Same on a Connection Denied.
And on Error.
Just whenever I connect even to my own computer (that's running an OINC Server) It's says connection Denied! :(
It's really great to have these public servers !
They're working fine for me.
Unfortunately, I'm having problems with my server box (it might never return :( ), so therefore, I'm now redirecting oinc.darkkiller.dk to Villy's server instead :)
I have created a server status checker for Villy's server, just put this on any webpage...
<?php
include("http://lfmmo.co.cc/istatus.php");
?>
It seems to work for me, if there are any issues, please tell me.
That's very kind of you, but isn't it a bit dangerous to include somebody else's code like that ? I'm sure you're honest, but I wouldn't dare use this method
I don't think that include line will even work, as that page returns an image, not a php file (include("http://") includes the result of the file at that location, not the raw file at that location).
This would work though, and is much safer:
<img src="http://lfmmo.co.cc/istatus.php" alt="Server status">
Good point. It doesn't add to my credability any more that this is only my 11th post. The server check is pretty simple anyway.Quote:

There isn't at the moment - Patrick had the OINC servers listed along with the moo ones at mooservers.com, but that site has since gone down.
has mooservers.com gone down?

Nice. Thanks for this. :)
Thanks! :)
Villy's server (67.212.160.6:6121) is now fully up-to-date! You should now be able to connect your clients to it :)
The server seems to be down :(Quote:

updated the website with a live status overview of the server.
Added detailed info regarding build dates for OINC so you know which server version is currently running.
It should be noted that there's a known bug in Poinc/OINC we're currently fixing, so hang on (it's related to clients joining a channel where there're already people in)
Villy's server has been updated to 0.1.986, please report here if things are still not working :)
please note: KlikFarm on the move.
I have purchased a dedicated server meaning the website will be moved in the coming 24h, with dns updates it could take as long as 48hours before everything is correctly directed.
The webserver, server and e-mail may be inaccesible in that period.
server move is finished, some providers might need to refresh your dns information, will happen tomorrow.
Also setup OINC on the dedicated server in the datacentre,
to see how it runs. Might be temporary:
Runs on windows server 2003, 2x Quad-Core Intel Xeon.
oinc.klikfarm.com - port 6121.
Happy testing
Thanks Mark.
Marv
Going to divert server.klikfarm.com to the new server in the datacentre today or tomorrow.
It will run a new version of OINC that includes a lot of fixes.
Moo will be running on the klikfarm server 0.2 version.
This means that at some point you will loose your current connection to the server,
this post will be updated when everything is in order.
This test, which probably will last a week if no major errors orcur is to see how oinc and moo
hold out performance and stability wise on a full fletched server in a datacentre environment.
Please send an e-mail to info@klikfarm.com or PM me when you encounter any problems including
an error report when available. Please note during this test you may experience downtimes. Thanks :).
Is Villy'S server down? since this morning I can't connect!
Hope nothing is wrong
