I download the phizix extension and I am completely lost. I looked at a few examples but it doesn't help me, there is no explanation on why they do what they do....so...could someone show me or post a link to a tutorial?

Well the Phizix Chimpmonk engine is really complex and has no tutorials not enough comments in the examples and insufficiently explanatory help, not surprised somebody needs help with it, even I don't know how to use it and I can do 3D in MMF2.
I can make you a tutorial :)
But not now, I will tell you when it is up on youtube :D
Examples/Phizix - Chipmunk Engine
seriously, you don't need anything else. Just look at the code.
I found that hard for me (When I was a beginner) so I think it would be no different to gamefreak.Quote:

Lets face it, the Phizix Chimpmonk Engine is an extremely powerful & useful Platform Engine that can enable you to do whatever you can come up with such as bridges, trampolines, chains, springs, water, wind, even anti-gravity pads with absolutely realistic results with little to none coding.
Did you really think an Extension that good would be easy?
if it has "little to none coding" as you say, then yes I'd expect it to be easy.Quote:

He's making something called MechaSource with it. It uses lua, you can script your own games with it, phizix support. :)
Woah nice! Is there a project website for this?
The physics object might be hard for you (I know you didn't say it but the way you are replying to this sounds like you are) so I will make a tutorial soon so that anyone can find it easy to use :)Quote:

Yes I have, and I'm pretty aware of all it's features. I never used anything but the provided examples, yet I understand it fully.Quote:

Can you please tell me what you WANT to learn about this, so then I can create a tutorial on it ;)
MechaBowser: Nice project, looking forward to it :)
And btw! Wow, you're a member in MFGG :o And I haven't realized over all these years! I used to be a little member when I was young, I think I even remember your name back there then!
MechaBrowser! That name was familiar but I never got it. Yeah I made a widget using one of your AI codes in 8 events or something from MFGG!

All we need is a description of the object and what it does, what are worlds, bodie's & joints.
Then we need a step by step how to... of one of the examples and thats it, all we need, no more bugging about us not knowing how to use it.
Dyanmite I look forward to your tutorials on this.
Hopefully they will help a lot of people.
Where could I find the tutorials you looked at gamefreak202?
EDIT: Oh and Dynamite, could you post or PM your box and circle tutorial? Thanks.
I'm not the one requesting a tutorial as I know everything about it - Dragonguy is, however.Quote:

I have finished the tutorial! But I am waiting for Jeff to put it up.
For the moment its on www.gamebuilder.info and Dynamite did an excellent job!
Very nice tutorial ;)
