Re: Pinball movement problem
Hey and welcome! The pinball movement is actually quite buggy (or at least it was in the demo version), and is best suited for make cool explosion effects, and not really for making pinball games. I would recommend you try out the bouncing ball movement and have fun with that one instead ;)
Re: Pinball movement problem
I see, but..
Pinball movement has nice phisics and bouncing ball movement is just a simple bounce ball. Other method?
And "make cool explosion effect".. can you explain that?
thanks
Re: Pinball movement problem
If you want me to try your file in the full version I would be happy to.
I just tried a quicky example with having many objects with the pinball movement and didn't encounter any weirdness but I don't know all the other things you might be doing at the same time.
Re: Pinball movement problem
I have a problem with the pinball movement too, it works much better just to make it static, but since your new, that works.
What I did was I have the pinball automatically slow down and stop after a while, because it would otherwise just crawl on the ground.
Re: Pinball movement problem
The problem is ONLY in the corners. When ball touch 2 walls at the same time in the corner. The ball stuck or do weird bounce.
I hope this have easy solution ... no?
Re: Pinball movement problem
You could round your corners off so there's no place where two edges meet?
Re: Pinball movement problem
I did it before but this is not the solution. Because always there are places where walls or .. making a corner. 90 grades or 70 or 150.
