Re: Interface Bar: ibar.mfx
Try unchecking "compress runtime" in the application settings.
Re: Interface Bar: ibar.mfx
It could be that the extension doesn't include the Visual Runtime. It has to be recompiled if that's the case.
Re: Interface Bar: ibar.mfx
MechaBowser,
I have already unchecked "compress runtime" in the app settings.
Werbad,
Is that a developer-of-the-object thing?
Thanks for your troubleshooting suggestions, guys.
Re: Interface Bar: ibar.mfx
BTW...
The developer's website (to download the object) isn't working for me. I noticed that the same website is in your signature, Werbad.
Re: Interface Bar: ibar.mfx
The server is down at the moment. I don't know when it will be fixed.

That is not the issue! I always include the runtime! :)
Re: Interface Bar: ibar.mfx
What's odd is that it works on other computers, and not this one... That's what's so weird to me.
The computer giving me issues has XP SP2... should that make a difference?
I'll test it on more machines to see if I can duplicate the issue.
Re: Interface Bar: ibar.mfx
After testing it on other computers, it seems the issue is isolated to just the one computer.
So, it's just a weird thing, I guess.
Any ideas on how to trouble shoot this other computer to find out why it's not seeing the ibar.mfx object?
Re: Interface Bar: ibar.mfx
does it happen with other extensions but the interface bar object?
Re: Interface Bar: ibar.mfx
I would suggest installing all the MS runtime libraries again. I think novabrain provided links in a forum post and made it a sticky. If Extenstions don't load it's usually down to the computer missing the runtimes.
Re: Interface Bar: ibar.mfx
It's only doing this to the ibar.mfx object. I'm using other 3rd party objects in the app.
I'll look into the MS runtime libraries.
Thanks. I'll post what I find out.
