starting help for boogle like game

I'm trying to create a game similar to Boogle for work. I.e. a 4x4 grid of letters that the player has to try and make words from within a set time limit. For my purposes, this game does not have to be 'intelligent.' I.e. I am happy to specify manually the letters that are displayed in the grid and the available words the player can find. The trouble is, I'm fairly new to MMF and I'm not really sure where to start. I could do with a push in the right direction and some advice on what I should look at / what objects I'll need to use etc.

Any help would be appreciated.
