Java is so close to Android it's scary... if you guys can hook us up with a version of MMF that outputs Android (even if we still have to massage it some), I'd pay big money for it.
Just a thought!

The next Java build will support Java mobile.
I don't think the JavaMobile export of MMF2 will be compatible with Androïd but I don't think it will be too hard for Clickteam to create another runtime for it or adapt the existing Java one for Android. :)
It would take ages to convert all the extensions, don't you think? Besides, I've never heard of Android before, and I don't see why we wouldn't just use JM.
Better get started then! Android = GOLDMINE (for ClickTeam and for you and me)!
Glad that JavaMobile is coming though, that's a start!
Looki, were you serious about not hearing of Android?
Of course I were. Never heard of it really. How would I? It's pretty new, apparently, and I myself don't even have a mobile, I'm not into that scene, only got a really old one lying around somewhere in my room, begging me to to plug the recharger cable into the socket (after about 2 years).
This would be fantastic... I'm dreaming of the possibilities for my G1 and soon my G2!Quote:

Never heard about it too. A bit of research and found what's about. Anyway, have you made market share research for it?
Android is the Linux OS that is hopefully going to work on all mobile based devices for the next generation of Mobile phones. (Cell phones)
Commonly known as the Google phone/ G1 . this is sporting the Android OS. I have an HTC phone that may be able to run the android OS but the Devs at XDA Developers are not quite there yet with some of the hardware.
I haven't played with Android as I'm a windows Mobile user but have been following the development since early 2008 and the Idea is great. A generic mobile os that anyone can develop applications/games for.
Android is a Linux based OS but the main function of this OS is to implement a very optimized JVM and all the applications created for this OS are developed in Java. ;)
