No problem on quick backdrops though.
Can't do anything with this Matrox G550 I start the HWA version of Dev up andwhen I click into the frame editor of a new project the frame is black. Just displays a black screen.
32MB Graphics memory? That card is over ten years old, maybe time to upgrade...?Quote:

My other card is a 9500GT. should be glad it's not a 3dfx Diamond Orchard.
I would guess that the problem is that your Matrox card doesn't support pixel shaders, and the HWA version of MMF is trying to use them anyway.
Please make a decent image saver for HWA. I think otherwise a lot of the shaders are fairly pointless unless your making a game always. I think HWA opens up doors on the graphics app side of thing with shader packs like Photoshop Blend Modes being made however without a good way to output whats made theres no point really.
So far the best method of saving images i have seen is the overlay redux or Screen capture object. Neither are perfect really for a lot of saving tasks and high resolutions like you see in basically all good graphics apps. Overlay redux is actually better imo because you can not only add what you want at the time to the savable layer/image but you can also save whats not at the time visible on the frame.
I think though one time in the chat app i was told that Clickteam does not have the code for the overlay redux extension so it might not/never get ported to HWA. So now im wondering if thats the case will there be a decent way to save images at high/good resolutions built in? or should i just give up hoping i can make a good graphics app in MMF and learn coding because the main thing i wanted to make was a graphics app with MMF. I think HWA has great potential but without a decent way to save it's good for games only really and not apps also.
It would be nice to not even require an extension, why not build it into the events editor in the frames section. save frame and save region of frame with or without effects, transparency, save all layers or layer number etc and also make it work without it being in view like redux does. That would be great i think and is needed really for when HWA is ready. :)
Well I'm really still running HWA 2c but I could always get counters to appear onscreen even the gradient ones. It was true of 3a/b when I tried them. The only problem was getting ink-effects to work on those and other things.Quote:

I'll try and have another experiment with 3c or whichever is most recent over my holiday.
Any update about this issue? As far as I could test it's the only serious graphic bug that I haven't found any workaround yet.Quote:
