A few more details would help us help you.
What events are you using in the Control X? What do you mean by blackout?

I am just using a click simulation. My screen goes black when the events are activated.
Control X = Blackout Object!!!!
Useless post...Quote:

The funny thing is it only blacks-out on one computer I have
That's what I would expect. It's your computer's reaction to the object, somehow. The object isn't programmed to blackout your screen.
Do you know how to fix it?
This file does not cause my pc to blackout. I would check and make sure that all of your display drivers are up to date.Quote:

But it works on my other computer but not on my laptop :(
Has anyone else experienced problems using the Control X extension in build 249 beta of MMF2?

I have been trying to find someone else with this problem for a long time!!!
I use build 248 and there is those blackouts. I have isolated the problem, for some reason, it automatically turns on powersave or the screen saver when using the control x object alot. Disable your screensaver and powersave and try again.
Thanks skeets! Is there a way to disable powersave/screensaver through MMF2 and then enable it again?
unfortuntly, you can only disable the screensaver... I have searched for quite a while to find a way to disable the powersave, but I haven't found anything. Tell me if you find something for that.
Anyway, use the Big Box object to disable the screensaver.
Thankyou very much skeets! It is fixed now :)
