The basic tutorials are there, chat and movement.
The server couldnt be more easier, download the oinc zip, there is a folder called server, you will need all the files. Simply execute the oinc server.exe and the server is running, perhaps your firewall will ask you to unblock the server.
If you are on the same pc, simply use localhost host to connect. Else you will have to map the port, this can be done on your modem/router. Check the manual or google it up on how to do it. Easy.
It would be helpful if you tell us what you are looking for in terms of more tutorials.
MarkClick, just a quick off subject question: does that server file support Blast?
Yeah it does, set in the configuration via EnableUDP=.
OK, the problem with the server is that when you run it, it tells you to make some kind of PW. So i follow what it says in the .ini and add that link to the OINC Client. Not even THAT works. I have the server running fine in it's standards, and it wont even work. I followed exactly word for word what the tutoiral said up until he launched the server and had it say "Connection Successful!"
Do you have any internet security or firewall software that could be blocking the server?
If i did, it would ask me to allow it, and i would say yes. I havent gotten that notification yet.
I just tried it anyway, and it didnt work
Well, if anyone wants some written tutorials, I have a basic chatroom one which is viewable in several formats here (I submittd to Klikdisc btw).
Also, I have a program called OINC Server Controller which is basically something that will log everything OINC and so you can figure out if the sender isn't sending, the receiver isn't receiving, etc... view page at here.
