There are some problems that are hard to indentify.
The connections do not always seem to come through.
I did some local testing on my pc, at first I had some random stability issues which now seemed to be solved.
Oh well, we will keep on testing :)
I'm away for a few days, but I'll look into these issues when I get back.
Thanks for testing, sorry for any inconvenience caused!
Jamie,
I know you said you'd look in to the problems when you get back, but just to confirm... i've tried this on a friend's PC and got the same issue and this - http://www.clickteam.com/epicenter/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=157945 looks like the same issue
Major bug I might say:
Everybody signs in to the same channel, regardless of the chosen channel. So player a signs in to channel X and player b into channel Y and they can chat and see eachother. Different subchannels also do not seem to mather.
I was wondering why my game suddenly got so messed!
Confirmed: I had users join a channel "Testing for game status" but they were created in the game under channel "Zombie Tag"
Could you guys see if this is only specific to the C++ server (eg. check out Villy's server and/or run a Poinc server)? That might help out Jamie when troubleshooting :)
Its related to the c++ server. The first build of OINC 1.0b was great, but the last build just before Jamie left added so many weird bugs. I will test with him when he gets back.
Back home now, will start debugging!
