Could you build a source to make the chatting window
to change into a translucent window?

I think you cannot use the combo box/list.

I got around it by using a text object that contains the contents of the list.
Quite easy really.

You could increase the screen size and then move the chat window down, giving the user more space to look at the game.

Looki I think found a way to get the rich edit box to have transparency... I'm not quite sure but I remember him being really excited about something with the rich edit box on gwerdy :)
