Re: MMF2 Build 249 - Beta #6
Awesome. I especially was looking forward to the Java Mobile additions. :)
Let's try to find some bugs!
EDIT: Ouch. I haven't used MMF for multiple weeks, and I was very confused because there was no Java in the "display modes" combo box in the runtime tab...
EDIT: I was not able to locate the "screen rotate" propery.
EDIT: An application with a Mobile Font doesn't load for me.

Re: MMF2 Build 249 - Beta #6
Time to find that MMF2 cd again, aye aye.
Still, any chance we'll ever see a development period of "return to the event editor" additions, for structure support instead of java/flash/etc? Or will we have to wait until MMF3 for that. I've been dying for a "Create object of type PARAMETER" action for ages

Great! I did not expect that!

Re: MMF2 Build 249 - Beta #6
I found next bug. When we choose clone application we can easily select 1920x1080 resolution (it was planned only for BD Fusion from what I remember!) but after choosing it and selecting OK it sets on 1440x1080.

Re: MMF2 Build 249 - Beta #6
i still think iphone support would be a real benifit for MMF 2.

Probably you have selected the "keep ratio" option in the Clone Application dialog box. If this option is selected, the application is resized so that its height/width ratio doesn't change => in the final resolution one of the dimensions will be the one you chose, but not the other one, unless the height/width ratio of the selected resolution is the same as the one of your application.
-
Re: MMF2 Build 249 - Beta #6
Hmm it's possible but from what I get know the 1920x1080 resolution was for a BD Fusion and we can't select it from list in window property tab.
-
Re: MMF2 Build 249 - Beta #6
Err... this resolution is not in the default resolutions listed in the popup menu but you can enter it manually... I don't see your point, do you want me to remove it from the default list in the resize dialog box?

Re: MMF2 Build 249 - Beta #6
Since it's not a final release yet i was thinking it would be handy to have HWA for the HWA build in MMF's title bar. It's not hard to find out if it's HWA i guess with the effects etc but it would be useful for the beta testing versions. Nothing major though just a quick idea to make things simpler.
-
Re: MMF2 Build 249 - Beta #6
Ehm, Yves you din't understand me. I thought that it was a bug because we can select it in Cloning but not in Window Tab and IMHO it should be in both or in none. But OK if it's not a problem never mind about it.
-
Re: MMF2 Build 249 - Beta #6
I agree with Atom, I've been wanting this for ages! It gets annoying if I accidentally open an HWA mfa in non-HWA, and although its not too different opening a non-HWA mfa in HWA, its still worth it to define which is which ;)

Re: MMF2 Build 249 - Beta #6
I just noticed in my project (were I'm using only new definied animations none standard ones) that sometimes object changes it animation to anim 0 (stop animation) which isn't definied - I've got graphics from anim 12-22. It showed few times earlier but I'm trying all the time prevent this bug which destroys my whole engine :/
-
Re: MMF2 Build 249 - Beta #6
Send an example to Francois please, thanks!
PS: I don't think the animation engine has been modified, so probably this behavior happens in old versions too, unless you have noticed a difference?
-
Re: MMF2 Build 249 - Beta #6
In older versions I almost never used only own animations. I think that there was a bit similar bug with Active Picture and Hero animation in MMF 1.5 but it was only similar.
Ahh the same bug was in previous build... So I will try to figure out where the heal I placed antibug code so it doesn't appear xD.
OK I found one of plenty places where it happens. In short if the custom animation ends and we don't recall any other animation (for example change animation to 12 - which is in my case stop animation) it changes as default to animation 0 (coded Stop) which doesn't have any graphics in it.

Hi Zombie. Beta 249 is up to Beta 10. That is the Beta Version you should be uploading, not Beta 6.

Re: MMF2 Build 249 - Beta #6
:D
Yes, download beta 10. It's a pre-release version, only a few bugs in the Java runtime have been fixed in the next version.
