Why is this sub-forum now called "Lacewing"?

All is soon to be revealed ;)
*Awaits for further details  *
Why is everything named after animals these days? First it was a cow, then a pig and now a flying bug thing.
I suppose next is California Condor or better yet Rainbow Trout or maybe even Silverfish.
Edit: I just noticed that a Lacewing is a bug & Lacewing is a bug! LOLZ!!! :D
You won't find many bugs in Lacewing ;) Intensive internal testing!
This sudden name change really bugs me. What is it!
will this "lacewing" fix my OINC crashes in my pictionary game and my player bug in my Assassination game :o
So many bugs  Is "lacewing" just OINC but rewritten to be more efficient? Like from MOO--->OINC. If it is a whole new extension, will I have to rewrite my whole engine?

so does that mean we entirely skip BAAH, MEOW and WOOF?
After doing 1000 test builds with this little bug I can confirm its ace!
Runs on Klikfarm too now.
It's coming... Can you feel it? :D

oh my god does that mean I'll have to entirely rewrite my POINC server
I swear if I have to rewrite my server people WILL die
Well POINC and OINC always have been different, like the absence of UDP in POINC. No idea how this works for Lacewing now. But its being developed by two different people.Quote:

Build coming at the next hour (whatever timezone you are in)!
OMG REALLY! :o Can't wait! ^^
No UDP yet (still got some stability issues to work on so I've disabled it for now) but everything else is solid :)
I will stay that 15 minutes for that build, will see what have you done.
I'm slightly confused but I like the name and logo. I have a slight fascination with bugs :)
Main topic is over here if anyone is wondering :)
What? OINC and POINC ARE NOT "DIFFERENT". They implement the VERY SAME PROTOCOL: we basically make our own interface for the protocol (that gets further defined when me and Jamie move along).Quote:

UDP in POINC has been working for ages, according to POINC tests.
Oh, and by the way, the only change between OINC and Lacewing is the name, so everything will still work!
