This is an early one because there was a security vulnerability in the server. Also fixed a crash in the client.

Did you disable blast again in this release? It was working fine in beta #4
Edit: Perhaps not. I must have screwed up somewhere.
Blast (udp) is broken in this releaseQuote:

There's a Save stack to file bug with beta #4.
People may be intrested in Lacewing/MooClick Server Controllers, which do just about all the expressions/actions/conditions in the MooClick and Lacewing objects.

Freeware ftw
This looks interesting. Care to elaborate what it is and its uses?Quote:

Are you using both the server and the client from this version?
If you are using a public server, which one are you using?
Object stressers do all the object's conditions, actions, and expressions. I've put this into a easy-find format, and included the server IPs (klikfarm/aquadasoft).Quote:

It can be used for just about any Lacewing error troubleshooting. I use it quite a bit.
This uses beta #4, the one that has UDP.
One day UDP will return to Lacewing. Until that day I use Beta #4.
And then one day Jamie will make Lacewing work across sub applications as well... ;)
I would love to use the C++ lib but there's no documentation at all I could find. Something as simple as quickly describing each class/functions/etc.. would be absolutely great.
EDIT: Just took a look at the header file and most of it was well commented, so that will have to do while proper documentation is done.
Now what would be really, really useful would be a very simple example to show how stuff works.
How's work progressing on the next beta?
When I try to go to ... http://localhost:6122/*****
I get a blank page on the right but the left page seems fine.
Yes, I am typing the correct password.
Help?
Yeah, the web interface is screwed in this build. It's fixed for the next one.
Alright, thank the lord it's not me.
Another question: When I set up the server... it runs.. for the "connecting part". Do i put in localhost or my actual IP?
localhost on your computer, your remote IP from others. Make sure you forward the ports if you want people to be able to connect from outside.
Will lacewing be the last "online extension"? It's switched three times (four actually if you count Moo2). Will this be the final online extension that clickteam will actually stick to and make it perfect?
Because I don't want to make an online game, and then a year later I find out that lacewing is old and there are no more servers that support it :|
I agree, will it be the last? or at least can you make a patcher every time you're going to make a new one?
I didn't realise how long I was gone... where is OINC?

Is this a bug, or is it only happening to me
If you're using beta #5 then yes, it's a bug. Do you have an example? Which server are you using?
And Lacewing will always be supported, yes.
There's your problem, you should really run your own server. You can't rely on public servers, because even if the extension does still exist the public server might not.Quote:

Out of curiosity, when will there be a Stable of Lacewing?
When it's stable :)
Just set it on top of 3 pencils if you want a stable version.
Anyway, how much longer do you think OINC servers will be supported? OINC at current is OK, with minor bugs. I'd hate to see that lil' piggy go away.
N/A
They may stop working in any future Lacewing beta. We no longer support the protocol - any current support is luck!
So my filesender is extreamly lucky? *turns 100% white and faints*
If you're using an OINC server and not a Lacewing one, yes.
 Jamie does filesending work fine in Lacewing?
Neither OINC or Lacewing had or have file sending features.
Um, I mean stack sending/receiveing...
Yes.
sorta.
 what's wrong with it!?Quote:

It shows " has joined the File Sender." and " has left the File Sender." All the time.
It could be a conversion problem - try a new MFA.
Mmm, still getting it.
