I've posted a similar topic like this in two other forums (Martin 2K and The Daily Click) , and I still haven't received a direct response to my problem. I'm wondering if Click Team Forums will be the first?!
I have a player (top down view) that can rotate 360 degrees. He will be able to shoot 360 degrees. I have four detectors placed around my player in the correct spots (X Top, Y Bottom, etc.) for each detector. When the player rotates, the detectors move around a little (this is good I think?). But when you collide with a wall, you can also rotate, causing the detectors to move as well. This can cause the detector to not overlap the wall, resulting in the player walking "through the wall". Here's an example .mfa file: (same .zip as the player bug problem, but it still shows the collision problem)
