hotkey to assign alphachannel to image sequence?
I have an animation sequence with a transparent colour where i want to give all pictures an alphachannel. So i select all the images in the animation editor, then click at the transparency icon, then check Alphachannel. Finally i get asked if i want to create an alphachannel out of the transparent colour. But now just the initially selected picture gets the alphachannel applied. The other selected images stays unchanged.
Is there a hotkey to convert all pictures at once?
Re: hotkey to assign alphachannel to image sequence?
unfortunately, you're going to have to do it to each individually. as far as I know anyway.

Ouch! My fingers! Okay, 999 left, 998 left, 997 left, ...
Thanks for your help :)
MMh, may i request such a hotkey for a future MMF build? Would save me lots of work :)
Re: hotkey to assign alphachannel to image sequence?
I agree it would be a good idea.
I would like to see dynamic alpha channels that you can change at runtime instead. So you can have 1000 images and say 10 alpha channels stored and switch between them using events.
Re: hotkey to assign alphachannel to image sequence?
Well, not what you want to do I'm sure, but you could export them and then load it into Photoshop, and perform edits. Make a macro for batch editing. Does that work in GIMP? I don't know.
Re: hotkey to assign alphachannel to image sequence?
Don`t ask how comes, but i have to render my animation sequences without alpha channel because of special settings. And so i need a way to add an alpha channel afterwards.
Hm, it is surely possible somehow. What works in Photoshop should work in Gimp too. But i have no clue how to perform this action by batch in Gimp. Such a script doesn`t exist yet though. And i don`t have Photoshop. That`s why i load my sequence into MMF, then export, then finish by batch resize (a plugin) in Gimp because of the bad MMF result, then import the result back :)
