Pokemon style combat again
Hi
I've been playing around with creating a combat system based on but definately not as complex as the Pokemon series of games. However I'm having a little trouble, each phase in combat is a group and when you press ctrl it deactivates the current group and activates the next. Sometimes which group it activates is determined by checking the value of a counter and this works fine up until the game starts the chain of events a second time and for some reason I can't figure out if it's skipping a group or just not performing an action in the group.
A file will probably make my problem much easier to understand
View MFA
look for the "The player is gritting its teeth." dialogue when the other player attacks a second time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Never mind, I figured it out. I was deactivating the wrong group.
