Is there a rule how in a Web based program the user should quit the program? Can I close the webpage or should I just use End The Application as in a PC Client based application.

You might just want to let it be, since if you end the Application you still have the Vitalized space where the V is in a circle. So just allow the user to close the webpage or switch pages.
