Here's a question:
What ever happened to the modem object? It seems to have subtly been abandoned some place between MMF1.5 and 2.0, lol.
Just when I wanted to make my PC answer the phone too :(

I can't believe it wasn't ported. Especially such an incredibly useful and widely-used object, too.

A Modem/broadband/wireless extension would be good.

Off-topic post but one thing im wondering is why MMF2 can't just use MMF1 extensions like normal? and also if the same thing will happen with MMF3 and we won't be able to use V2 extensions.
I hope when V3 is released we will still be able to use V2 extensions, i know that there will be backwards compatibility with V2 but i don't know if that means being able to use the extensions like normal.
Because then MMF2 would need to provide MMF 1.5 versions of all of the internal structures. I can't quite emphasize how horrible that would be, and wouldn't you rather we spent our time adding new features instead of supporting outdated code?
Yes! Yes! Burn the old code!Quote:

I think Java and C# may well have something to do with why you thought that ;)

Drawline wasn't a CT extension though, so can't blame us for missing that one :)
