Ok, I'm glad that it will be then.
Does that mean everyone has access to it, or just those who purchased the runtime?

The Flash Runtime and SDK will be released so people will be able to make extensions and tweak the runtime code if they have those kind of skills.
Yes you are reading that correctly -- The flash runtime and an SDK for Flash will be released.
Urbanmonk I think everyone can get it but what would you want to do with it if you can't use it?
I'm just slightly confused is all.
I don't personally have a use for it, I use mmf so I like to have new extensions come along you know? So the more developers have it the better.
That's why I'm excited about it's release.
What I'm confused about is the fact that you all(Clickteam) changed your mind about releasing the sdk public. I'm mean why would it be kept away from everyone in the first place?
Not that I'm complaining or anything :D , but you asked. ;)
People are not allowed to listen to various people and change their mind? Thats all that happened :)
No, you aren't. I strictly forbade it!Quote:

Thanks
It's just as easy to steal the code if the SDK wasn't open, thanks to the way ActionScript works. Go figure :)
