I might be wrong as i can't test but by the looks of things you are wrong, that would fix the html side of things but not a single SWF still which is what im talking about. I just opened the swf from that zip in firefox and can see a tile off the edge of the level so it's still broken and Clickteam would still have to fix it.
Re: Possible Big Bug (Please Confirm)
You could find a way to block the download of a SWF.
I didn't mean the SWF itself (nothing has changed there) but the browser issue is fixed for certain.
Clickteam can't fix it afaik. They've said it many times.
Re: Possible Big Bug (Please Confirm)
I believe the problem is with flash itself and not mmf's flash plugin. The offscreen elements issue can also be seen in other flash games not made with mmf.
Example1: gameshot - jungle jump
I played this game back in 2009 so I don't it was made with mmf.
Example2: 2DPlay - Election Keepy Up
This game was made with Flex. When you're in the game level, at the bottom of the screen you'll see the ends of the signs go off screen. Couldn't be bothered to hide them. :)
Re: Possible Big Bug (Please Confirm)
SO maybe here's the problem - Flex?
Re: Possible Big Bug (Please Confirm)
Well when i tested with what im guessing were standard flash games it never happened. Clickteam should hopefully be able to fix it because i also have tested with flex based games and it did not happen.
I have no idea how Clickteam coded it but it seems to display the whole level and then with the html codes or whatever you put on the site it scales the view down so that it works like the camera. Maybe it's the system being used in the plugin or something because if it is a flex thing then there seems to be a way around that which other games use.
Edit -
Testing another flex based game has now revealed how others do it. The way i noticed was one game showed all the background as black so now it's clear in the browser it shows using the whole area. After testing with another that was looking like it was normal i right clicked in the white area and as i thought the flash options appeared. So the solution is im guessing a simple one and to make a solid color frame around the play area as it appears the others just mask it rather than using a cropped size area.
Re: Possible Big Bug (Please Confirm)
Like I said in another post just add another layer on top and set it's scrolling coefficients to 0. Then place a black border around the view area.
I don't think this "feature" should be built-in because the abilty to see outside the view area
could come in handy later.

Not really, it might be useful to test but i doubt it. When i test games with the normal MMF i want to test with how the player should view it not a broken view. It should be added but maybe with the option to un-tick it so you could on the rare chance you would want to view the broken version do so.
Also can anyone confirm that what UrbanMonk said works with the .swf when opened in firefox (just swf without included html or whatever) or does this only work with the html etc?
Could someone post with zeb or whatever to show this is fixed that i can test because right now i still have the same view and won't buy until i know this bug is fixed or has a working workaround. Also is the demo version out yet, on the product page it seems to link to the main MMF demo and not the plugin?
