I have been trying to figure out if it is possible to implemt a preloader from a sponsor in front of the game that uses some sort of ad system too
a sponsor talked to me but he want his ads in front of the game
they sent me some files but i can't do anything with that. is this a dead end?
It depends which way round it is.
Either they want you to use the files they've sent inside your own preloader, which you can't.
Or, the files they've sent are a preloader that they want you to use for your app, which you probably can do.
e.g. this post talks about adding a mochiads preloader to an MMF flash game.

If they've sent you a preloader you can just open their .fla with flash and embed your swf into it.
