MCI and Windows 7

I was using the MCI control to record and play back audio. I put the project on hold, but the audio recording and playback was working perfectly (windows xp).

I upgraded to Windows 7 sometime back, and I just made an attempt to work on the project again and to my displeasure, MCI doesn't seem to work with Windows 7.

I suspect I need a driver, but I haven't found anything that will work.

Does anyone else have Windows 7 who may be able to help?

ERROR MESSAGES: The specified parameter is out of range for the specified command.
