What are the "default objects"?
I often see this mentioned in various contexts ("all the default objects are supported in all runtimes") but which of the objects that come with TGF2 actually are these? For example I'd definitely put Active Picture, Array and (unfortunately buggy) Animation as defaults (as in, needed for every even slightly serious effort at making a project) but I got the impression they aren't treated as such. Help also doesn't mention this topic at all...
Anybody knows?
Re: What are the "default objects"?
I think usually "default object" means "internal object", i.e. not extensions : Backdrop, Quick Backdrop, Active, Counter, Score, Lives, String, Question & Answer.
Re: What are the "default objects"?
Thanks for the clarification (^.^)b I don't see the logic but I'll try to stick to these objects in the future so the projects are easy to port!
Re: What are the "default objects"?
This was mentioned elsewhere but it is worth repeating:
If you are unsure which extensions will work on a given runtime, then change the current runtime in your game/app to that runtime and then opening up the 'insert object' dialog. All objects listed there are supported for that runtime.
