Yep and the exe gets to the same point so I assume it is not just Flash related.
Actually I think it is just placewing server, still checking.
Seems like Mathias hasn't started the Flash Policy server on aquadasoft.com.
Sorry, found a small bug in pylacewing, the server should work now (0.2.31 is coming)!

On ping fail still doesn't work Jamie.
If a ping fails I have to destroy the lacewing object and create a new one so I can ping again.
I've made a work around.
The ping fail doesn't work so I've made a group of events with a manual timeout.
Do you mean failed as in "on ping failed" or "on error"?
I'm sure I fixed the latter.
"On ping failed" I've been bleeting on about it like a squeeky wheel since you implemented the option.
Is "On error" the same as ping failed or just for the lacewing communication side of things?
The "on ping fail" event just doesn't do anything.
"On error" will trigger if the hostname fails to resolve etc
"On ping failed" will trigger if the actual ICMP ping fails
I'll fix it for the next build anyway :P
Many people have been experiencing weird issues with the aquadasoft.com server (pylacewing). I'd recommend switching to server.klikfarm.com in the meantime.
And also test my server please. :)

I just had a brief look at the public pylacewing server, and there seems to be a couple of errors. I'll have a look at it today!

Yeah there were a few bugs in the aquadasoft server, but now the klikfarm server is acting weird for me too :(

Well (using aquadasoft) in my game I connect to two channels. The game channel and the lobby channel. Then the host can switch between the two ever so often a see if a peer joins the lobby. Then he will send the game info to the lobby so it can get updated. With aquadasoft there seems to be a problem with choosing another channel i think.

Worryingly, I've been working on OINC/Lacewing since 2006 if you include aqsock (some of the code from aqsock is still part of Lacewing).
Is there any chance of releasing a pre 14 build with the Network tools ping fix or is this going to affect the stability?
I fixed the aquadasoft.com issue (not sure why, but reuploading pylacewing fixed it)! ;)
