hey people i still cant get the name display to work..
is there anyone that can help..
All i simply want is
when the frame pops up u user dialog comes and asks the user for his name and when he enters it it displays on the screen as soon as he enters it.

What part are you having problems with?
You could store the name in a global string and retrieve it on other frames so you can display it?
Or do you need help on collecting it?
You can use the Imput Object to show a dialog asking for the name, and add a string Object to your frame. When the Input Dialog returns OK, set the string to the name the user entered.
