issues with exporting with rotated screen :(
Hi everyone,
I'm working on a project that is set to be rotated 90 digrees during export for jaqva for mobile devices.
Its a scrolling side scroller that uses 3 layers. (runs great on powerful devices) BUT when I export as rotated 90 digrees there is a big issue wit the screen rendering, the first 30 percent of the screen is displaying improperly... like its chopped and displaying part of the map that it shouldnt be and even scrolls independently of the rest of the screen.
Could this be a bug with j2me export when using layers?
I'd be happy to send a priveate example file to any member of clickteam who wants to take a look.
thanks
Re: issues with exporting with rotated screen :(
Have you tried ticking "Force global refresh" from display properties?
Re: issues with exporting with rotated screen :(
I've tried it with and without force global refresh and the problem is exactly the same. The first third of the screen displays an incorect portion of the map and does NOT scroll at all, even while the remaining two thirds of the screen acts and scrolls corectly.
Has ANYONE had sucess exporting to a mobile device while using layers, scrolling, AND the export rotated feature?
I should also point out that the game runs fine on a seperate device when NOT rotated by MMF (because this second device is horizontal) Therefore the rotation feature is definately related to the issue.
Is a member of Clickteam willing to check out my .MFA , try exporting it and running it on a deice. (maybe the bug will show up on an emulator too, I dont have it on my laptop at the moment.
thanks
