Re: Balloon notifications
What extension are you using for the balloon notification? I don't get this issue at all using the Advanced Tray Object.
Re: Balloon notifications
I'm using the Advanced Tray Object. It only happens when I am running the built app, for some reason.
Re: Balloon notifications
I built a test app that made an icon and made a balloon appear after 14 seconds, built the EXE, ran the EXE, and, I had my focus on a different window. When the balloon came up no focus was lost, my window kept focus on it.
Re: Balloon notifications
Hmm, what if you have focus in an edit box (for example in the address bar)?
Re: Balloon notifications
Hey, Game_Master!
That sounds really interesting... Are you placing the spellchecking interface inside a balloon in the System Tray? That's a cool idea. How did you set that up?
RGBreality
Re: Balloon notifications
RGBreality he isn't doing that, and that is impossible too. What he's doing is he has a tray icon that when a Balloon appaears, he claims it loses focus from anything he has focus on. I cannot replicate this at all, though.
Re: Balloon notifications
I am not sure if it does it on Vista or Windows 7, but it definatly happens on XP.
Re: Balloon notifications
Game_Master I am running Windows XP Home Edition SP2 and I cannot reproduce your issue. Can you make an MFA that you know causes this and send it to me via this thread?
