Problems Launching MMF2 after installation

I just installed MMF2 and updated per auto-update utility. When launching (or trying to) the MMF2 application, I see a flash on the screen/taskbar and then it disappears. I do not see any process running for MMF2, and attempts to alter compatibility mode for MMF2 do not change the behavior (tried XP SP3, XP SP2, and even Win95 just for extremes).

Any ideas or suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

Try:

* Uninstall MMF
* Reinstall MMF
* Download the latest build from here for standard or here for developer
