However, I find this comparison confusing. Mochiads capable, but some Mochi objects are declared as 3rd party?!? Who would have guessed?

Not some, ALL the mochi objects are 3rd party because they don't come with the install of MMF2 from the MMF2 disc or updater. They only come with the flash export installer.
