Does any know if these sfw files work on these phones?
They should work. I recall someone reported earlier running MMF2 generated swf on his Android phone with good performance. Also many other smartphone OS are starting to have flash 10.1 support, not just Android.
Cool I wonder if a swf file will automatically resize the game size on different smart phones
I've tested a couple of my Flash games on both the Droid 1 and 2. The games work, but they run much, much slower than on the desktop. I believe it can autosize. One thing I noticed is that, with the exception of the arrow keys, the Droid keyboard doesn't work in the game.
would love to hear more reports on mmf made swf running on android
I would guess SWF will work on various new phones. I say this because after the whole apple wants no flash thing all the other phone company's rushed to support it from what i have read. There is a load of new ipad competition on the way also which will probably also support flash.
In the java runtime forum there is a list of phones that are supported so maybe a similar list could be done for phones that support MMF flash.
flash running on android is the slowest piece of crap i've ever seen, input response ranges from 2-3 seconds and the framerate is just as worse. browser flash games aren't meant to be played on a phone.
On a brighter note, if anyone who hasn't already would like to put their name forward for beta testing the Android runtime...
jamie: when i get a psp phone ;)
I'll be an Android tester.
I've got the HTC something or other. Can't remember, and I'm not at home right now. :D
