Making window bigger in MMF2?

Hello, I was wondering how I can make the play area bigger.

I clicked the storyboard editor and made the resolution 1024 by 768. When I went to the frame editor there was more white space to work in, but objects only appeared in the square of dotted lines that I cant seem to drag. I also changed the resolution in preferences but that didn't do anything either.

What am I doing wrong?

You need to change your application size as well as the frame size.
