An odd glitch with fade in.
I have a glitch with fading into a frame, as the title suggests. In short I made a .90 sec "fade" fade in for a frame and it just went from white to my frame, and the timing was off. I don't really know how to post my application, but i'm going to try (this is my 3rd post and i'm kind of a noob at mmf2, which is what i'm using by the way) so if it doesn't work right please tell me how to post it.
Re: An odd glitch with fade in.
You can't link to your own computer. You have to upload your file with the link under the post submission form that says "File manager":

Re: An odd glitch with fade in.
Ok i tried it but it says "We encountered a problem. The reason reported was
The files you may upload must have the following extension: : .txt,.zip,.cca,.mfa,.mfx,.pdf,.mfp,.lib,.rar,.pdf"
Do I need mmf2 developer?
Re: An odd glitch with fade in.
No, you need to upload the MFA and not the EXE.

Re: An odd glitch with fade in.
I can't run it as you have the Active picture pointing to
C:\Users\Exploder1010\Desktop\Media Stuff\Spm Photos\IMG_0012.JPG
And this doesn't exist on my computer.
Have it load the graphic relative to your MFA/EXE and then upload both the files.
Re: An odd glitch with fade in.
Wow lol I didnt know how to do that so i messed around with it and i found the answer to my problem. But that makes me want to know how to ,"Have it load the graphic relative to your MFA/EXE and then upload both the files." Do they have something on that in the "Graphic objects and loading them into TGF2/MMF2" tutorial in the link you put?
Re: An odd glitch with fade in.
All you need to do is NOT load the graphic in the application properties leave it blank -- Load it in the event editor using Apppath$ or some of the other "filenames" commands found under the special object.
If you get stuck I am sure someone can whip out an example in 2 seconds :)
Re: An odd glitch with fade in.
Wow Jeff you're on a roll you just unintentionally answered my other topic which was pretty much how can you make an object later in the frame. But then for my actual question do you just have to do what it says in the tutorial about graphic objects?
