I'm having a problem though.
You can log in as guest, password guest1 to see it.
when I go to the next screen, the art work from the previous screen leaves like a quick shadow.
I inquired about refresh options, but no one seems to know about it.
Also I built the login system using a client.
The problem I'm having with that is that the client becomes inactive after a while and I have to re-start it.
any suggestions on that one?
Just send text to the server every now and then to keep the client connection to the server active. Later versions will have this fixed so that a ping-pong like this will happen automatically.
That's a good idea.
I was just thinking of putting a counter in to do something every 5 minutes. Is there a cutoff time for inactivity built in?
Also, any ideas about the refresh thing?

There's no built in cut off because it isn't a feature and is not meant to happen at all; it just depends on the ISP I guess, I really have no clue why it happens.
Ok I put the client to sent a message every 2 minutes and so far so good.

Ok, I've put this version in a place that will not require re-posting the location. Check in now and then to see progress. If you are trying to build a flash multi-player it might be encoruaging. ;)

I see there is a new title screen :D but now I can't log in, it says "entered chamber..." and then nothing happens.
Huh, now it's telling my username or password is wrong. I'm using the same login as before...?

I have a seperate application handling the login than the server.
so when I was working on the file saving, I was jumping back and forth in relation to which gatekeeper was up. My MMF is on a different computer than the application and the server, so I have to do it that way.
tragedy strikes:
drive crashed and I lost an obscene number of files.
I'll have to rebuild.
What is up is working, bit it will take a while to re-do the progam to get it where it was. :S
