There are a few differences in how Hiscore object behaves between the Flash and runtime versions. I don't remember seeing this mentioned anywhere so here goes.
In Flash, there are problems with stealing focus and other differences in behaviour, for example:
1. If the "Show name before the score" is unticked (no other changes anywhere else), the object doesn't show up at all. It shows normally in runtime.
2. It sometimes happens that after I enter my name in the Hiscore and click the "OK", the next frame doesn't react to the keyboard commands and I have to click in the frame again to give it focus.
3. The "Input name" field sometimes doesn't react to Enter, but instead the "OK" button has to be clicked instead (which is clumsy because if you're playing with the keyboard you have to switch to mouse just for one click).
3a. The "Input name" field sometimes cuts the connection between the application and the keyboard if Enter is pressed after typing in the name. Only reloading the application helps here.
4. The "Input name" dialogue doesn't grab the focus automatically like it does in the runtime, so again one has to switch to the mouse.
None of this happens during runtime so even if I'm doing something wrong there's something fishy going on here... Even if some of the focus problems are due to Flash I'd at least like to hear a confirmation the object just doesn't like Flash.
In case it matters: Windows 7 Home Premium, Unicode TGF2, latest builds (both 249 and swf exporter).
