Flash External Files [Discontinued]

I spent days trying to figure that out. I got a few MMF2 swfs to show, but most won't. I have no idea why it happens. :(

I have no clue on why it does not work all the time in MMF SWFs. MMF SWFs are pure ActionScript code this may be the difference with Flash generated ones...

Just one request: there's a way to load the image, but when you load it, it shows up as white before it loads. Could there be a feature to make it so that you can load the image in the background, then show it, so there isn't a white bit when loading? :)

Will there be an extension that can download and (seperately) play sound files from a URL? My biggest problem with Flash is external files so I'm very eager to see any new extensions addressing this. Well done StephenL!

Load the file, then hide it. When it is loaded, show it. :)
On a side note, I am rewriting this extension to allow multiple files at the same time.

Maybe in the future. I am working on a flash vector extension right now. :)

I completely rewrote this extension to be fully optimized, and you can now use up to 4 external files at one time. Let me know if any bugs are found, or if someone needs more than 4 files at once.

If you hide a file that has been loaded does that un-load it? by this i mean would it stay in memory etc if you hide it or is it actually like removing it.

Also is there any chance of having a File Not Loaded condition or allowing the File Loaded condition to have negate as it seems you cannot do this. File not visible is a temporary workaround which works ok but it would be nice to have this option.

Hiding a file does not unload it. It will stay in memory. I will add a file is not loaded condition as soon as I can. :)

I am still not seeing anything displayed, i don't know how it works. Can you please add an example?
