Re: Flash External Files
Well that was definitely really easy :P can't believe i managed to screw it up, now i have been trying to see what i did to make it NOT work.
That was actually pretty hard, it always works.
UNLESS when i first load the image at start of frame, then on a "file loaded" condition, set all the attributes: x,y,width, height. THEN it does not work :P

Re: Flash External Files
Hmm, I did a quick test and the file loaded and file finished events are not triggering. I will fix this and re-upload.

Re: Flash External Files
Great work Stephen... :o)
As you go along, could you add in the about box, what files are supported.
Are some of these options in your todo list?
- Movement (naa, nevermind, you can link it to an active object)
- Paste as background
- Resampling when resizing and rotating?
- Order
- Transparency

Re: Flash External Files
The files that are supported are in the Extension description. :)
I am not sure about the rest. Perhaps at some point when I get some free time. ;)

Re: Flash External Files
Is it possible to have more images somehow? the best would be to do stuff using an id value rather than the 4 seperate functions.
Or if you could just add one instance of the extension for each image, like active picture etc.

Re: Flash External Files
This doesn't seem to be possible with the way MMF2 and Flash work together at the moment.

Re: Flash External Files
Maybe have a separate advanced version of the object which allows lots of images. A dynamic method would be best but if it's organized with sub menus a list is good also as long as it works well.

Re: Flash External Files
Is there a way to load an SWF file with some additional parameters that the said SWF could read as flashvars?
edit:
Many thanks for the extension, by the way :-D
