I don't think so. I think you need MMF2 to use any third-party extensions.
That's right, you need MMF2 for extensions like the Get object.
If you do decide to upgrade to MMF2, remember you can get an upgrade discount: http://www.clickteam.com/website/usa/contact.html
i see, well i dont have either, and is the 50 bucks more for mmf2 really worth it?
Also, what does this "Royalty free, logo and credit free - (no commercial runtime agreement required)" mean? MMF2D has it, MMF2 doesnt. And the same with, "Ability / rights to change the version information of the EXE files".
The $50 is definitely worth it. You get loads of extensions that extend the functionality.
The Royalty free, logo, and credit free means you don't have to give credit to CT if you make a commercial game/app. The version info change means you can make the exe say that you made it, instead of the usual "Multimedia Fusion Runtime" or whatever it normally says. :)
How do I give credit? Do I just say "Made with Multimedia Fusion" or something like that?
There's some logos included in CD 1, you should find them under the CD's "Redist" folder.
Just include one in the app where the user will see it easily.
