Problem with IPhone 4

Netninja is reporting problems whenplaying my game on an IPhone 4; it seems the game slows down to level of becoming almost unplayable.

On my IPod Touch 3 it works ok, being similar to a 3GS. Jason says it slows down after some minutes on a 3G.

But an IPhone 4 should be faster than both of them. I even built a special testing distribution for Kabuto's IPad, and it worked fast.

Since my scores are all images, the only things I can think of that could be hurting perfomance are:

1) Change in resolution from 480x320 to 960x640, and or
2) Creation and destruction of bullets when fired and creation and destruction of the type of enemy ships that constantly appear.

Thoughts?

I said that it feels "jittery" - but it doesn't slow down... It feels like it's skipping a lot of frames, making it quite hard to play. Can you test the FPS?

Yes, sure, I will.

Anyone else is experiencing this jitter?

Btw, if you want, let me know your device's UDID and I'll build a test game with and FPS counter and send it to you by email.

By the way, just out of curiosity, what object did you use to make your buttons? Are they actual "Buttons", "Actives" or something else?
