Andos, I'm doing some tests right now, but it seems tobe related with sound, when almost no sounds are fired (except for the background music which is already playing) and even if the screen is full of active objects, my FPS count is beyond 25.
So I will strip out all sounds and see what FPS count I'll get.

I can confirm that the sounds are the cause of the lag!!!
The only sound that I left was the background music and the games runs at 30 FPS with the screen filled of enemies (not even a single drop beneath 30 FPS). It runs smoothly, with no jitter!
But when sounds are fired framerate drops to 25, 20 and even 12 fps, the more sounds you play. So the problem is not the sounds being played (I left the background music) but triggering sounds.
