I made a very simple application with the default active object set to bounce and play a sound when it does. Also I included a button to quit the application.
The APK builds correctly, but immediately crashes on my Droid X.

Interesting. If I switch the build type to Windows Application and try to run it, the Windows runtime crashes too. ????

It crashes for me on the emulator...
It installs to my DroidX and runs from MMF.Quote:

The button makes the standard droid button click but does not close the app.
The dropshadow effect of the top statusbar does not extend when rotating the phone, (or it is 'painted' onto the play area).

Exact same thing happens to me. One sound effect plays, then nothing is ever heard of again from that particular sample.
I was gonna make a report later tonight about the same sound problem. You can hear the very first sound effect and then nothing after that.
ZTE blade here with custom rom android 2.2
and sorry to report that, it immediately crashes :/
DroidX
Same as Alex above. Runs ok but no sound after the initial bounce. Button does not end the app.
I just tested it here and it crashes for me. My device is running 2.2
It force closed for me too. Motorola Droid running Gingerbread.
It crashes on on my desire 2.1 too, no sound available when I run it.
Surprising that it crashes on some droid x's and not others. It crashes on mine running 2.2 rooted.
Weekly update: After several tests, I am unable to run any APK's on my Droid X that I create with MMF.
Just posting to show that I'm still active. I still can't run any apk's and will probably have to wait for the next build before I can be a more effective beta tester.
Still here. :)
Just checking in and anxiously waiting for a new beta! Also, this week, I will upgrade my Droid X to Gingerbread and give the current beta another spin.
Yay! Beta 5 works for me! Testing. :D
