I'd love the app more if it sorted stuff (like the right click menu) alphabetically, it'd make people faster finding what they need to work.
Also the menu in "on group activation - Activate" needs to be sorted alphabetically.
Thanks!

Wrong forum? What product are you talking about?
I'm currently using TGF2NG build 251, in english.
(I wanted to post this on "feature requests" but this forum was the most similar I found).
thx!
Sort what alphabetically?

I'm guessing the condition menus for the built-in objects O.o
Probably so.

Yes, sort them alphabetically, it's unintuitive to have items unordered.
The items are grouped in the menu, then sorted alphabetically in that group. Putting Never (which is the direct opposite of Always) at the bottom of the menu is counter-intuitive.
On second thought, since the menu is so short, why not eliminate the submenus and put everything on a single menu? Any modern computer can show the whole menu, no need to click twice to get to the submenus.
Submenus actually use more resources than a full menu, so I think you're missing the point.
A good structure is indeed essential. However, I'm not too much into alphabetical sorting. I don't like the idea about removing sub-menues either, they're great for grouping together similar actions and reducing the amount of simultanely displayed text. Sure, you can eliminate an extra click by displaying every action in a single menu, but seeing a lot of text is much more tiresome.
There's just a natural order of things. Values comes before strings, singular comes before multiple, common features go higher, similar features goes together. If there's actions for deleting x, y, z, or everything, then "delete everything" should be placed last. With alphabetical sorting, "Clear Search Results" would show up way above "Search" while obviously the natural order is to put "Clear Search Results" directly underneath "Search" (if there are no other search related features that should go in between). Have a look in the file menu system of your own browser right now, and you'll see nothing is alphabetically sorted. Same goes for almost all other software you use.
I like to order things the way I want, I wouldn't want it to automatically sort stuff alphabetically.
gen, I don't think you would like to see the action menu of my Surface object extension without submenus :) There are about 300 actions so it would look a bit chaotic. I personally find this idea rather pointless - The menus are completely justified, in my opinion. No reason to get rid of them *at all*!
Eliminating the submenus will solve the problem ?Quote:
