Licensing question
I have a little question about the iOS export module, mainly, about getting a licence.
My case is a bit complex. I use MMF2 developper a lot at my job (licence bought by the company). But I want to also buy a MMF2 dev copy for myself, because I want to also develop stuff, as personnal projects.
My question is: If I buy the iOS export module on my own, can I install it on my work PC for now (to start playing with it) and then later transfer the licence to my home PC when I'll buy my copy of MMF2 dev for myself? I'm asking because I want to know if a single iOS export module licence can be transfered on another PC that have a different serial (licence) for it's MMF2 installation.
I don't have the money to buy both the iOS export module and MMF2 dev at the same time. So if that works, I could buy the iOS module first (and start playing with it on my work PC (company owned licence)), and when I'll have enough to buy my own MMF2 dev licence (should be maybe two or three months later), I could transfer the iOS module to that other MMF2 dev licence (which will be my personnal, not company owned licence).
Is that possible to do?
(Let me know if my question's not clear, I sometimes tend to be confusing when trying to explain things! ;p )

Re: Licensing question
I don't know, but an alternative is you could buy MMF standard and the iOS exporter which is considerably cheaper. When you have more cash, there is an upgrade price to MMF Dev which I think is practically the price difference between Std and Dev.
Just a thought.

Re: Licensing question
Trying to move the iOS export module from 1 serial number MMF2 Developer installation to another serial number installation will cause you to get detected in the security system.
So its not a good idea as when you wanted to move it you would have to explain to me why it was there on one serial and now want to move it to be used with another serial number over here.

Re: Licensing question
Thanks for the answer. I'll just have to wait then to buy myself my own copy of MMF2 dev and the iOS export to avoid any issue.
It's just that it's hard to me to actually start developping (on the company licenced MMF2 install) trying to think ahead of the limitations and particularities of exporting the product to iOS (without access to iOS-specific objects and features).
Oh well. But I understand the security though. You don't want anyone buying a copy and sending the iOS module to a bunch of other people...
I'll wait a couple of months then, to buy my own MMF2 dev licence. And then only after that I'll buy the iOS module...
Thanks for the answer.
